Bowling

This past weekend Shawn and I watched his brother's and sister-in-law's kids.  We hope that they had as much fun as we did!  On Saturday one of Shawn's networking groups did a family event of bowling.  They do it every year and we love it.  We were able to take the kids.  The event did a competition by adding all the players score together that were on a team, in the first game.  Our team had the Shawn, myself, the four kids and two other people and Yes, like true Echols we won first!

Horses, Horses, Horses

Living in Queen Creek has been great for Shawn and I.  We are loving it and are really loving our home. However, there are some new things that I have never seen before and here it is.

Yes, that is a button for you to push if you are on a HORSE to turn the stop light, love it!

Our Home

It has been a long time since I have done a post so, I thought it would be best to start up again with this one. Shawn and I have been lucky enough to buy a home! We put in our offer at the end of May of 2011 and finally got closed at the end of Jan 2012 and were able to move in at the beginning of Feb. It was long and stressful time, but well worth it. It has been so nice to have a home and have our own space! We love our neighbors and our neighborhood!

Modest is Hottest

For Young Women's we had a night on modesty. We talked about the important of it and used church information on it. We then broke up into groups and then they designed modest dresses. The girls had a lot of fun and they really got into it. It was awesome. We then had the models walk down our homemade runway. At the end we had a contest on whose dress was the best. It was a lot fun.

Utah We Love Thee

Shawn and I went to Utah the second week of February. We went to a wedding for friends of ours. It was a lot of fun to see old friends and faces. We were both in the line. The groom, Garett, was one of Shawns' roommates from College Terrace and we both became friends with Hannah, the bride, through Garett. It was a great event and we are truly for the both of them. Shawn and I both made a lot of friends at College Terrace and it was great to see some of them.

It was also great to see my high school friends and also my family. I can't believe how big Carter and Cason are getting! It was great to eat dinner together as well as going shopping with the girls. I thought I had more pictures, but I don't. I guess I will have to take more the next time I am in Utah.

This is a Potato Gun and Yes we love it!!!

Lamar, Shawn's brother, gave him a potato gun for Christmas. After a few tries we all loved it. Shawn, most of all! I was going to try and take a picture of the potato in the air, but it was so hard for me to see that I couldn't. We have shot everything from a potato, lemon, and even a onion. Don't worry someday we will bring it to Utah.

Merry Christmas!

This year Shawn and I were in Thatcher for Christmas. It was our old fashion Christmas were every gift was home made! At first, I was not happy about it but after starting it was a lot of fun. I learned how to sew something it enjoyed every minute of it. All the kids got a long and we all enjoyed ourselves.

This is what Christmas looks with 26 people and 14 of them are kids!! Every year my family tries to get a picture of the tree. You can see me trying to stand in there but there were some many presents!

This is now hanging in my kitchen. Thanks Danae! I love it!!!

This is a popcorn bowl Shawn and I made for his Dad.

My brother-in-law, Cory, built this train. The kids spend hours on it. Cory would pull them all around the neighborhood. It was one of the kids favorite things to do.
